NO MORE REGULAR PRACTICES: Saturday’s Block Party and Awards Ceremony were our final events for the regular season.  If your swimmer would like to get more swimming in, refine their skills and build on endurance, check out our private lessons program here.  If your swimmer is signed up for next season, we will start on Monday, August 25.  There are no practices until then. If your swimmer will be joining us in the Fall and you have not yet signed up, be sure to do so here. ALL swimmers in ALL groups will need to register for the new season.  Swimmers are NOT automatically enrolled in the new season.

WHY DO WE TAKE A BREAK: While working with children in the swimming community for over two decades and collaborating with physical therapists and orthopedic surgeons, it is recommended in taking a break from repetitive sports (like swimming) to reduce the risk of injury in young shoulders, knees and hips.  As a parent and former teacher, it was important for me to provide a bit of breathing room around the start of a new school year so the kids can focus on setting up systems for them to be successful in their new classroom.  Taking a break also allows your swimmer to MISS being at the pool.  It’s so fun when everyone comes back together and we can all be “out of shape” while building better skills into the new season.

ADDITIONAL APPAREL ORDER FORM: Since our summer shirts were so popular, I wanted to offer the opportunity to pre-order this design in a variety of different apparel options.  If there's a style you prefer that is not included, please let me know.  All apparel will be charged to your BAY account and ready for pickup during the first week of practice.  ORDERS DUE THURSDAY, JULY 31. Order here.

SATURDAY’S BLOCK PARTY: What a fun day for our team!  So many brave swimmers tackling new events (or their first ever meet.)  It was awesome to watch.  Check out the results on the “my meet results” on the site (far left side of the website when you log into your account.)

AWARDS DAY: It was so nice to celebrate the swimmers at Saturday’s Awards Ceremony hosted after the Block Party.  To view a list of awards recipients, click here.

FAR WESTERN SWIMMERS: Best of luck to Ethan Pham and Aly Cutforth who will compete in Morgan Hill at the July 31-August 3 meet in Morgan Hill.  Have fun, swim fast and make memories!

2025-2026 CALENDAR PREVIEW: Almost all of our events for the new season are on the events page.  If you’re more of a “list person”, you can preview it here (we’re still making updates along the way.) It’s very important to follow the RSVP deadlines.  I feel this can be the season that we can all get your RSVPs in on time!!!

*Save the date for the Reno Travel Meet on July 10-12, 2026; it’s fun for the whole family at a BEAUTIFUL pool.

UPCOMING EVENTS WITH RSVPS DUE SOON: Be sure to click on the hyperlinks above to read more about the event.  You can also access all events by logging into the website, clicking on the events tab and then selecting the event in question.  You can “edit commitment” on the far right and change response from blank to “yes” or “no”.  If you ever have any questions about the event after you’ve read the description, please email [email protected]
